Besides that, we celebrated our decidedly faux-Irish heritage by wearing a bit o'green, reading a St. Patrick's Day book left over from my first grade teaching days plus a Dr. Seuss favorite "Green Eggs & Ham" & having the same for breakfast (minus the ham!) and then having a treat of leprechaun cereal (aka Lucky Charms) for snack. For dinner we had alterna-Irish potato & olive stew. It was delicious. Only thing missing was green beer! Happy St. Patrick's Day!
