it's a flag. really.

One of the things about having a toddler & a preschooler that people don't tell you about is that you become an expert. At everything. And you have the answers. To everything. That's because your child or children will ask you approximately 4, 672 questions per day. And you are expected to have the answers.

And also, you have those same answers - you know, the exact same ones to the exact same questions - every.single.day at least 400 times. No kidding.

One of the questions Cassidy needs clarified on a daily basis is, "Momma, is it my birfday soon?" On the fourth of July she got a little extra excited because it was the fourth which is the same number as her birfday...only a few months off. So, even though we did get a special breakfast, she realized after looking at the calendar that there were a few more months to wait.

And then, of course, asked the same thing again ten minutes later.
