monkeys, ice cream & carousel rides.

The other day we hit the zoo for a few hours to enjoy the early fall weather & spend a little time outside. Again, I managed to leave without one single picture of an animal, but did catch a few of our little monkeys. One of Cassidy's favorite non-animal parts of going to the zoo is getting a treat of ice-cream after lunch. This day was no different...for her.

Kalea, on the other hand, had not yet had the pleasure of diving face first into cold, dairy goodness. When we brought it back to the table her eyes lit up & she started babbling, "Me! Me!" & reaching out every time Michael took a bite. For the first time we let her have at it with the cone. It was hysterical & she loved it...all over her hands, arms, face & hair!

We, of course, rode the carousel. This time Cassidy rode all by herself with no (known!) help from Mommy or Daddy. She's growing up faster & faster every day!
