fun in the snow

This past weekend we were lucky enough to have friends come out to play in the greatest snow on earth. Guests & Michael went skiing on Friday & Sunday - enjoying the 15+ inches of snow that came down overnight on Thursday night. Saturday we rented snowshoes from REI & headed up Millcreek Canyon. We had a great time - even when we ran out of snow half way up & had to ditch the snowshoes & just hike the rest of the way. The girls did a great job hanging out in the carriers & giving Mommy & Daddy a little extra workout.

Although the snow was fun, we're ready for spring to come, the weather to warm up & the germs to head out of town. We've been passing the ick around the house since after Christmas. We're beginning to plan what to plant in the garden this year & to make lists of house projects to do between the cold, cold of winter & the hot, hot of summer. Wish us luck in accomplishing everything!
