kids & technology these days.

Cassidy is really excited about getting to see Grandma, Grandpa, Gran & Poppy in a few weeks. She talks about them constantly, prays for them before she goes to sleep & asks to "see Gran/Poppy/Grandma/Grandpa on 'puter, please mama?" nearly every day.

Yesterday I was feeding Kalea & making dinner when she asked, so I couldn't Skype right at the moment. So, she took matters into her own hands. She & Bear Skyped on her Pooh laptop...while she used the potty.

Isn't it crazy what our children are growing up with as "normal" technology today?

I was thinking the same thing yesterday when B came to me and said: "Mom, I'm sending a text right now." John and I rarely send texts; I wondered where he learned about texting when I remembered that was his norm. Crazy!

Haha.... I understand the consequences wat the technology has brought about on the young generation.... I have no rights to talk about these things coz i am myself addicted to blogging. But that is just it. I have no FB, no Twitter.. hehehe. Nonetheless, this post is sarcastically funny...

You know she learned to multitask from you, too! :)

@TLF - it's kind of nuts, isn't it? I swear C knows how to use my iPhone as well as I do these days!

@ Ratz - good for you. I folded & got a FB account but am still Twitter-free!

@ Gina - Yes, I'm trying to laugh about it. But using the computer on the potty isn't something she got from me...must have been her dad! :)

That is too funny!

Mia has some robotic stuffed toy that knows everything about her (ie. mommy uploads the info). And her own ipod now. WTH?

@mingaling - C has one of those crazy stuffed animals too. I let Michael do the uploading. Both girls have a gmail address too. However, an iPod? Mia's got them beat on that front.

That's so cute!! She is just the cutest ever. Seriously. And 'puting while on the crapper is the only way to do it.
