Our last day in Pennsylvania had a yummy start when Uncle Derrick, Aunt Jessie, Sean & Elijah came over to make delicious pancakes. So, getting make pancakes from "scratch" (or Bisquick, whichever!) was a special treat. While I packed that morning, everyone else hung out in the kitchen waiting for yummy breakfast. Thanks to Master Chef Uncle Derrick!
We've been reading a bunch of Eric Carle books lately, once of which is Pancakes. It's the story of a little boy named Jack who wants some pancakes, but first he must gather eggs from the chickens, wheat from the farmer, flour from the miller, milk from the cow, etc. His mother shows him how to cook and flip them, and hungry Jack knows what to do with them next. So did we!
Cassidy & Sean scarfed their pancakes down quicker than the camera could capture, but we did get a snap of these two sweeties. I think they enjoyed breakfast, don't you?
