project 365 photo: 03.23.2011 {the libeary}

You would not believe how thrilled Cassidy was when she sited this gigantic stuffed teddy bear at the library.   We love the library & have recently graduated from just story-time attendees to actual checking out of books & DVDs. It's like she wins the lottery every Wednesday - it's that exciting.

Anyhow, back to the bear. She spotted it after story-time while we were wandering around the play areas playing "hide & seek." If you're wondering, that involves me counting to either 5 or 20, depending on instructions from Cassidy while fake hiding my eyes & simultaneously watching the girls take off in opposite directions squealing. Then she yells "here I am" at least 841 times & while snagging Kalea from stealing some poor child's sippy cup or snack  I pretend to try to find her. Rinse, repeat 6,593 times.

Anyhow, back to the bear. Cassidy dragged that poor bear by the ear & sat him on a child sized couch to read books to him. A princess book to be exact. A princess book that we found in the princess section, obviously. I mean, it's marked by a castle. We've gone full on into the princess stage of preschooler. We've checked out at least 16 versions of Cinderella & this week we moved on to Beauty and the Beast, a movie she earned from her responsibility chart recently. After reading to him, she dragged him over to the gigantic bean bag chair to strike a pose or two. She's not shy much, is she?

Hahahaha.... that is one big bear. And that is one energetic girl you have there.... and I would love to have that sort of hide and seek, so much fun.

Energetic is right! The library is such a fun place for them.
